Well I can tell you one thing,about me.I don't write well. I am ADD and have a Comunication disability.I can talk and hear.But often I can't say things in the order,It should be said and so forth,I usually start blabbing and then after 5 min,come back and than am centered.
I often go off on tangents,and am random.Oh how I wish I could go to a school and actually learn how to do stuff.
Properly.Instead I am deemed weird,uninterested ,or as if I am story telling?NO! I have big Imagination ,and being Wired weirdly,as well as very nervious(evil cycle)
Nothing could be further from the truth.I ask if you do speak to me,please be patient,I am a little strange in the way I communicate,this is specially true if I am so happy I talk all over the place!! I actually love comming up with ideas,and I guess my learning disability is a gift as well as not! It allows me to flow,freely,no boxed in thought process...OUT SIDE of ANY BOX.
Is where I am and is why I say I am outside artist.I at that time didnt know They(who are "they" anyway)actually have a whole Catagory,for such as myself.Outsider Art!
I am just a outsider artist, untaught, unteachable. When I was in grade school the teacher of my second grade, at Clara Barton Grade School Edison NJ, Locked me in the closet! Stateing to my mom,
"Linda Has NOne to FEAR But Linda Herself!" I still dont get it, unless she meant that I am my own worst enemy?
NOw through the help of my very astuit'Therapist ,I know this is mostly due to my Expressive Launguge Disability"and it being 1965,Girls didnt get a diagnosis of ADHD,and I am quite smart so No one even suggested a learning problem..
I am very clever at comming up with themed items,and unusual angles of thought. Not everything I do is so outradgeous,actually I can do Normal stuff..BUT I LOVE A CHALLANGE...so ask me.. for a idea,I would love it!
